Your tasks
- Planning, execution and evaluation of experiments on a catalytic high-pressure test rig for the hydrothermal gasification of biomass
- Developing a method for the regeneration of spent catalysts
- Optimization of an existing catalyst using wet chemical methods
- Documentation of the results in technical reports and scientific journals
- Characterization of the catalysts using modern methods
- Close collaboration with an industrial partner and an international and diverse team of PhD students, postdocs, senior scientists, engineers, technicians
Your profile
- Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering or materials science with a focus on heterogeneous catalysis
- Practical experience with continuous catalytic test systems and gas analysis
- Doctorate in a field of heterogeneous catalysis desirable
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- High motivation to work on bioenergy projects and research novel technologies
