Who you are:
As an External Engagement Coordination Partner you will provide support to the Roche Network in the very key area of Healthcare Professionals engagements, Patient Partnership (PP), and Grants, Donations and Sponsorships (GSDs) for Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) and Patient Organizations.

As a team member of the External Engagements Enabling Team, in the role of Engagement Coordinator Partner, you will actively drive and support in the E2E Process Oversight, Improvement, Monitoring and Execution.

You will partner with Roche internal partners and external customers for the engagements within your responsibility and you will ensure that all Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Patient related engagements steps and work related to GSD requests for HCO/Patient organizations are effectively and efficiently managedand related transfers of value are executed on time and in high quality.

Your day to day responsibilities are:

  • Interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including the sensitive patient community and the business critical relationships with the HCPs

  • Carry out the E2E process of HCP/and Patient engagements (Supports internal Business Partners and internal involved stakeholders in preparation, execution, monitoring of all engagement types)

  • Carry out the E2E process in execution, monitoring and reporting of Grants and sponsorships; coordinate cross-functional GSD relationships and ensure end-to-end GSD process management

  • Responsible to track and provide support to the affiliate, contract, HCO and Legal, and Procurement Teams, along the entire process for all types of engagements and GSDs

  • Support the team in inspections and audit documentation preparations

  • Ensure financial compliance and correct accounting treatment of activities, e.g. ensuring transactions are posted to the correct sustainability relevant accounts to ensure Roche Transparency

  • Sustainability Reports are correct

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to support the contract, procurement, HCO and Group Legal teams

  • Responsible for acting in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice (such as Roche Code of Conduct)

What can you bring to our team:

  • Bachelor degree is preferred

  • At least 2-3 years of practical experience in contracting for external engagements including newly implemented MyBuy tool, SAP, MDMS and other affiliate approval tools, GSD, iHCP.

  • Experience of HCP and Patient engagements as well as GSDs is a plus including a good knowledge of the compliance, procurement, finance and accounting environment

  • Conscientiousness: attention to detail and robust focus on managing delivery

  • Knowledge of compliance, legal and financial processes and systems

  • Experience of working in a complex matrix environment and successfully delivering outcomes

  • Appropriate knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g. scrum, design thinking, lean etc.) and capability of applying them depending on the context and need to generate impact

  • Empathy High ethical standards to tune in to the needs and concerns of different people, including people from different backgrounds, cultures and situations

  • Drive: to capacity to keep the ultimate goal in mind while combining persistence and flexibility in striving to achieve this goal

  • Ability to tackle various tasks at once
